A New Marie

My second Marie cloth doll. She looks such a snob!
She has her 'up-do' of course. Her mask is handmade and embellished ready for the Ball!

A New Found Passion

Yes, another one!
Cloth Dolls! Something I hadn't tried before. We have a swap over at Marie Antoinette Mail Art to put together a box of goodies to create a Marie cloth doll. I thought I'd try one out first to see how she turned out.
She's made from an old pillowcase, and some material I had. Her hair is silk doll hair ...I love doing the hair!

Marie Tassel Doll

A Marie Tassel Doll, for a swap on MAMA. Made from a lovely tassel I found in a craft shop

Let Them Eat Cake Paper Shoe

Here's the paper shoe I made for the swap on the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group. There has to be a cake somewhere on the shoe, so I made the slice of orange cake from Polymer clay. It was good to be playing with clay again.....it's been a while. The little heel is clay too, and has a bow detail on it.
I really enjoyed making this, so I don't think it'll be the last.

Just Magnolia Sketch Chalenge 'Birthdays' Week 44

This is a Birthday card I made for my daughter, fitting nicely for the Just Magnolia Challenge 'Birthdays' After 15 yrs she's horse riding again so I thought a horsey Tilda might suit her
The tree stamp is Magnolia too, coloured with watercolour paints
I've used a Martha Stewart lace punch, the rose leaves are from an Elusive image Rose stamp, and finished off with paper roses, and buds
